Department Of Homeland Security Awards $181 Million To New York City

“New York City will receive $181 million from the Department of Homeland Security’s $1.6 billion budget. Speaking Thursday at NYPD headquarters, Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said that homeland security is becoming a matter of hometown security.

‘The terrorist threat is more decentralized, more diffused, more complicated,’ he told reporters”.
