Egypt’s Morsi defiant; trial adjourned until Jan. 8

“Egyptian security officials say ousted President Mohammed Morsi was defiant as the trial opened and told the court trying him that he remains the ‘legitimate president’ of the country. The trial was quickly adjourned until Jan. 8 to allow defense lawyers to review documents. The officials say Morsi also said he rejects the proceedings against him.”
