“Iranian forces have killed eight drug smugglers in a shootout near the city of Baft in Kerman Province, Kerman Public Prosecutor Mohammad Mohaqeq announced on Tuesday. Over a ton of narcotics and some weapons, including RPGs and grenades, were confiscated, Mohaqeq stated. The clash happened on Monday night after officers identified a convoy of armed bandits and drug traffickers in Baft.”
