South Carolina: Water purification system mistaken for ‘bomb’ at BMW

“Spartanburg County Sheriff Chuck Wright said what deputies initially told media was a bomb at the BMW plant turned out to be a water filtration device. Wright said a large drum was found left behind a vehicle in Lot D of the west entrance off Brockman McClimon Road on Friday afternoon. Deputies told FOX Carolina that they initially believed the drum contained a ‘chloride granulated bomb.'”
