New research by Opinion Matters and Egress shows that CIOs are very concerned about insider threats. 8 out of ten (79%) CIOs think that employees accidentally exposed sensitive company data in the past year and 6 out of ten executives (61%) believe that malicious insiders exposed data in that same period. However, only 30% of respondents believe that insiders intended to hurt the organization by exposing data.
