Iran is considering to revise its defense strategy in the face of perceived new regional threats, a leading security official said on Wednesday. The statement is a reference to recent reports that the US government has actively sought to transfer sensitive nuclear power technology to Saudi Arabia. Iran and Saudi Arabia are bitter rivals, and have been supporting opposing sides in the civil wars in Syria and Yemen.
