Cybersecurity firm Sixgill is warning that more and more threat actors are selling stolen login credentials for the online portals of news websites, digital magazines and other online media. Omer Carmi of Sixgill claims that “[f]or anyone with a strategic will or the strategic motivation to do that, it is a piece of cake,” since login credentials can be bought on hacker forums for as little as $200.
