Booz Allen wins $1B contract to protect federal networks

With a $1 billion contract, Booz Allen Hamilton is now tasked with securing the networks of 6 federal agencies representing 80% of the .gov usage, 4.1 million network addressable devices, over 1.75 million users, 19,700 websites, and 89 federal organizations. The contract is part of a larger federal cybersecurity effort to prevent attacks on federal networks, and is valued at a total of $3.4 billion.
