Russian military on alert for massive war games with China and Mongolia, largest since Soviet period
Russia is gearing up for its largest war-games since 1981, exercises that will also include China and Mongolia. The size and scope of the drills highlight Moscow’s increased emphasis on military exercises and ties with China as partners opposing the “unipolar world” under U.S. domination. The drills will span the country, but the mass of maneuvers will take place across Siberia and the far east.
