Morocco said on Tuesday that it had “important and fruitful” talks with United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on the developments of the 33-year old Western Sahara issue at the at the UN headquarters in New York. Moroccan press quoted the head of the country’s diplomacy, Taib Fassi Fehri saying that the talks with the secretary-general were dictated by concern to reach “intensive negotiations as soon as possible” on the issue.
