Iraqi refugees are being warned not to return home by the American military, amid concerns that the country is still too dangerous and that the Iraqi government cannot cope with the numbers. Rear Admiral Greg Smith, a US military spokesman, says Iraq is still dangerous and that the Iraqi administration can’t cope with a huge influx of returnees. “The Iraqi government have even said this week that it would be beyond their means to deal with a massive return,” Smith said.
