Ivory Coast’s government said on Saturday it remained committed to the divided country’s peace process, a day after an assassination attempt on Prime Minister Guillaume Soro, a former rebel leader. “The prime minister and the government reaffirm their unequivocal commitment as well as their tireless determination for the complete implementation of the Ouagadougou (peace) accord, the only way out of the crisis in our country,” said Amadou Kone, government minister and spokesman.
