The armed wing of the ruling Hamas group said on Sunday it had fired two rockets at Israeli targets from Gaza after the start of a ceasefire, saying this was because some Israeli troops were still in the strip. An Israeli military spokeswoman said the army was checking whether any of these rockets had hit their targets.
