Drug mules have been caught trying to smuggle 30 kilogrammes of heroin worth $1.8 million into Hong Kong inside swallowed pellets, customs officers said Monday. The drug mules were trained for weeks to swallow as many pellets as possible, and one man had more than 150 pellets containing 2.4 kg of heroin inside his stomach, a customs spokesman said. Fifteen men aged 18 to 41 were arrested in a two-week operation at Hong Kong International Airport.
