THE Government has written a confidential letter to the International Criminal Court, conveying its firm desire to have the indicted top leadership of the rebel Lord’s Resistance Army apprehended and prosecuted for war crimes. Daily Monitor has learnt that the ICC wrote to Uganda, the DR Congo and Sudan for a “status report” on the execution of the LRA warrants of arrest on September 25.
