A Spanish judge questioned Khaled al-Masri, a German citizen of Lebanese origin held in Afghanistan in 2004 on suspicion of terrorist activity as part of investigations into CIA illegal flights of terror suspects, eyewitnesses reported. Al-Masri, interviewed in the presence of his lawyer by high court judge Ismael Moreno, accuses the CIA of mistakenly abducting him on December 31, 2003 while he was on a private visit to Macedonia and taking him three weeks later to Afghanistan for interrogation over alleged links with Islamist groups.
