Britain’s highest court ruled Wednesday that four men who say they were tortured in Saudi Arabian jails cannot sue officials from that country over their imprisonment. The Law Lords ruled that Britons Ron Jones, Sandy Mitchell and Les Walker and Canadian William Sampson do not have the right to sue Saudis they accuse of torturing them because foreign government officials are immune from prosecution in Britain.
