Three men linked to a plot to kill former Iraqi Premier Iyad Allawi during a visit to Germany are to appear in court on June 13, prosecutors said Monday. The three members of the Ansar al-Islam movement were arrested in December 2004 just hours before Allawi arrived in Berlin on a state visit. They face charges of membership of a terrorist organization. All three are Iraqi nationals resident in Germany and have been in detention since their arrest. Full Story
