Serbia’s parliament honoured late Yugoslav leader and war crimes indictee Slobodan Milosevic with a minute’s silence. Government deputies took part in the official parliamentary session but remained seated as Milosevic’s Socialist Party of Serbia and the ultra-nationalist Serbian Radical Party stood for the tribute. “I invite you to pay tribute to the murdered SPS leader and former president of Serbia and Yugoslavia,” said Zoran Andjelkovic, deputy parliamentary speaker and senior SPS official.
