Four men were indicted in Southern California on Wednesday in what federal authorities described as a terrorist plot hatched inside a prison to attack synagogues, American military installations and Israeli officials. The defendants in the case – three American citizens and a fourth man from Pakistan – had bought weapons, “were in the planning stages” of the attacks and “were well on the way” to carrying them out, said Robert S.
