Today is World Password Day. For this occasion, Nuance released new research showing that resistance against biometric authentication methods such as fingerprint scanners and facial recognition solutions is declining, while frustration over password use remains. Almost two out of three (64%) UK residents feel comfortable using this technology and over one-third (35%) of people already use it to unlock their phone.
The survey also shows that many people struggle to forget passwords for the many digital accounts they use (14 on average). 38% of respondents said that they failed to remember a password at least once every month.
