Pakistan will boost measures to tackle militants along the Afghan border, its prime minister said on his first official visit to Afghanistan. Zafarullah Khan Jamali has met Afghan President Hamid Karzai in Kabul for talks on security and economic issues. Mr Jamali called for a “joint effort to fight extremism and terrorism”. Afghanistan has in the past accused Pakistan of turning a blind eye to Taleban and al-Qaeda fighters crossing the border. Full Story
