US officials in Saudi Arabia are reviewing security advice to citizens after fresh warnings of terror attacks. The British Foreign Office had earlier warned that extremists “may be in the final phases of planning attacks”. Britons, Australians and Americans in Saudi Arabia are said to be considered potential targets. Officials said the warning was similar to one in May, before car bomb attacks on western compounds in Riyadh killed almost 40 people. A US diplomat said the embassy would publish more information later about its security advice later on Saturday. The British Foreign Office raised its security advice to all Britons planning a trip to the Middle Eastern country. In a statement issued on Friday night it said: “We advise British nationals against all but essential travel to Saudi Arabia.” Full Story
