South Australian police are investigating the infiltration of a State Government Internet server by international hackers. Over the past few weeks hackers from Europe have broken into a State Government computer system via the Internet, using a server to store their own music and movie files. The newly-formed electronic crime section of South Australia police is investigating the break-in. Detective Senior Sergeant John Schrader says while no permanent damage was done, the uploading and downloading of files has cost the State Government between $40,000 and $50,000. Full Story
