Last year, the State Department launched a new cybersecurity bureau, designed to enhance digital diplomacy and online standards around the world. Nate Fick is the first person to lead the new Bureau as the first State Department Ambassador-at-Large for Cyberspace and Digital Policy. Earlier this month, the State Department launched the Office of the Special Envoy for Critical and Emerging Technology, which will report to Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman through Ambassador-at-Large Fick.
