The commander of U.S. forces in the Pacific said Wednesday that he hoped a visit to the region by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would lead to a resumption of high-level military exchanges with China. “We hope she gets some traction, and we’re hoping for a resumption of that dialogue,” Admiral Timothy Keating, head of U.S. Pacific Command, said at a small briefing in Hong Kong.
