The Nicaraguan government estimates that economic growth at the close of 2009 is a 2% to register a cumulative inflation of 10%, lower than the one experienced last year. The chairman of the Central Bank of Nicaragua, Antenor Rosales, said Wednesday at a press conference that the inflation rate is lower than the projected 13.7% accumulated in 2008, resulting from the decline in oil prices.
