Three dead in Afghan suicide blast: police

A suicide blast in the centre of the southern Afghan city of Ghazni on Monday killed three people and wounded five others, police said. The explosives, strapped to the attacker’s body, detonated as he was being driven along a crowded road in Ghazni, about 100 kilometres (60 miles) south of the capital Kabul, Ghazni provincial deputy police chief Mohammad Zaman said.
