Three Afghan construction workers were gunned down by militants while a suicide attack wounded three policemen Friday in eastern Afghanistan, officials said. The three men working for a private building firm were shot and killed by attackers in a passing vehicle in the eastern province of Khost, Ismail Khail district governor Dawlat Khan Qayomi told AFP. “They were shot and killed as they left their house,” Qayomi said.
