Angola says it will send troops to Congo

An Angolan government official says his country will send troops to Congo, where at least 250,000 people have been displaced by fighting. Angolan Deputy Foreign Minister Georges Chicoty did not say how many troops will go or what their mission will be. Southern African regional leaders meeting at a summit Sunday had discussed sending troops to reinforce the scattered Congolese army. (Full Story)
