A Taliban commander and at least 15 others died in a suspected US missile strike on a militant training camp in Pakistan’s tribal belt bordering Afghanistan, officials said Monday. The attack came hours before officials and tribal leaders from both countries met in Islamabad to discuss how to counter the growing threat from Al-Qaeda and Taliban extremists holed up along the porous frontier.
