Indonesian police thwart fuel depot terrorist plot
JAKARTA, Indonesia – Anti-terrorism squads arrested five suspected Islamic radicals believed to have been plotting to blow up Indonesia’s largest fuel depot, a police spokesman said Wednesday. Raids at two locations on the main island of Java on Tuesday also netted guns and ammunition, triggers, chemicals and 5.5 pounds (2.5 kilograms) of TNT powder, national police spokesman Sulistyo Ishaq said.
