Talks with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon Monday (September 29th) in New York on the Western Sahara issue were “important and fruitful”, Moroccan Foreign Minister Taieb Fassi Fihri said Tuesday, APA reported. Fassi Fihri said the meeting was aimed at launching “intensive negotiations” on the issue as soon as possible, adding that the proposed talks could result in the implementation of UN Security Council resolutions on the matter.
