A suicide car bomb exploded in northern Algeria early Sunday, wounding 25 people including four policemen, Algerian Interior Minister Noureddine Yazid Zerhouni said. The blast occurred at around 5 a.m. local time (0400 GMT) at a police station near an army barracks in the town of Tizi Ouzou of Kabylie region, the Algeria Press Service (APS) quoted Zerhouni assaying.
