German police have arrested a Turk suspected of leading a branch of the banned Kurdish Workers Party (PKK), state prosecutors said on Tuesday, just days after Kurdish separatist guerrillas released three German hostages. Police arrested the 47-year-old in the western city of Detmold on Monday, Germany’s Federal Prosecution Office said. The man, identified as Hueseyin A., is suspected of having been responsible for the PKK’s operations in Germany until June, it said in a statement. Full Story
