Four British soldiers were killed in the restive southern Afghan province of Helmand, officials said Wednesday, including reportedly the first female British military fatality. The soldiers serving with NATO died Tuesday when their vehicle was caught in a blast during what the British defence ministry called “a deliberate operation” east of the provincial capital Lashkar Gah.
