A strong earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.7 struck near the Greek capital before dawn Wednesday, followed hours later by a much weaker quake off the Aegean island of Karpathos, the Athens Geodynamic Institute said. No injuries or damage were reported from either quake. Full Story
