An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.5 has struck the southern Greek island of Crete, but no injuries or damage have been reported. The Athens Geodynamic Institute says quake struck at 3:20 a.m. Thursday. It was centered in the Zakrou area of eastern Crete about 240 miles southeast of Athens. Full Story
