Georgians voted for a new parliament on Wednesday, with the opposition vowing to bring 100,000 people onto the streets of the capital later to protest that President Mikheil Saakashvili was rigging the election. The West says the poll is a test of Saakashvili’s democratic credentials after the U.S.-educated lawyer sent in riot troops to crush protests in November.
