For the second year in a row, less people in The Netherlands have been sentenced for murder, manslaughter and sex offences. A report by the Public Prosecutor’s Office shows that in 2007, 129 individuals were sentenced for murder and manslaughter. In 2005, the figure was 194; in 2006 it had dropped to 143. Full Story
