The economies of the post-Soviet Eurasian states are growing faster than Asia as a whole, and are suffering from higher-than-average inflation, according to a new report issued by the Asian Development Bank. Overall, the economy of the eight states of the Caucasus and Central Asia grew by 11.6 percent in 2007, as compared to 8.7 percent for the developing countries of Asia in general. Full Story
