Israeli and Palestinian leaders hold first talks in seven weeks

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas were to hold their first face-to-face talks in seven weeks on Monday as a US-sponsored bid to reach a Middle East peace deal gets back on track.
