Prime Minister Gordon Brown said Wednesday that he is ready to meet Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama, after pressing Chinese premier Wen Jiabao to end violence in Tibet. Brown said he had spoken to Wen by telephone in the morning, and the Chinese premier had assured him he was willing to hold talks with the Dalai Lama under two conditions. Full Story
