A Georgian tycoon who financed opposition causes in his home country and had expressed fear of assassination was found dead in his house in Britain, officials said Wednesday. Police are investigating the death as “suspicious.” Badri Patarkatsishvili, 52, died late Tuesday at his mansion in Surrey, a county on the outskirts of London. Surrey police, stressing that an investigation is common in cases of sudden death, said that postmortem results would probably be available Thursday.
