Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni promised to keep the fight against terrorism a top priority during meetings Monday with Israeli Defense officials. Livni was in the West Bank to meet with Israel Defense Forces commanders for a briefing on the current security situation in the West Bank. Officials say while there, Livni reaffirmed Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s continued plan to act against terrorism during the negotiating period with the Palestinians, the Jerusalem Post reported.
