Two Israeli cabinet ministers have said the government should examine any serious ceasefire proposal from the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas. Infrastructure minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer and transport minister Shaul Mofaz say offers of a truce should be given serious consideration.
