Turkish troops entered northern Iraq early on Tuesday to flush out separatist Kurdish rebels, Jabbar Yawar, spokesman for the Kurdish peshmerga security force, told AFP. “The area they entered is a deserted area and there is no Iraqi force or peshmerga deployed there.
