The Philippine government and Muslim separatists will resume formal peace talks in Malaysia next week, in the hope of settling a territorial dispute, a presidential aide said Saturday. Jesus Dureza, the presidential adviser on the issue, said that “formal exploratory talks” between the government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), which stalled in September 2006, would resume on November 14.
