Japan Extends Sanctions on North Korea for Six Months

Japan extended sanctions it imposed last year on North Korea because of a lack of progress on resolving the issue of abductions of Japanese citizens by North Korean agents, Chief Cabinet Secretary Nobutaka Machimura said.
