Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan vowed to step up the nation’s fight against rebels from the Kurdistan Workers’ Party after the group was blamed for killing 13 soldiers near Turkey’s border with Iraq. Turkey will fight a “very different kind of war” against the group, known as the PKK, following the attack yesterday in the mountainous Sirnak province, Erdogan said in remarks aired by CNN Turk television.
